Tantraom, ever since its inception in 1995, has taken a very keen interest in it social commitment towards preservation of the unique cultural heritage of the Tibetan people. Due to the fallout of the Chinese invasion of Tibet - Tibetan cultural lines are greatly threatened - endangering the continuing of a living heritage of 3000 years. The best moorings of a Tibetan life is religion "Tibetan Buddhism", which permeates everyday art, music, drama, cuisine, dress, literature, mannerism, philosophy, spirituality, etc.
In order to preserve this uniqueness of its vibrancy, novelty and richness as a universal responsibility. Tantraom actively supports a myriad of developmental programs and projects especially in schooling (full boarding and stationery) 3 to 18 years Tibetan children (coming out of Tibet). At present, Tantraom supports complete education of 83 Tibetan kids. We hope and aspire to take more responsibility in the future as we grow in business - this is our small commitment towards universal responsibility in a global village.
